Sharing our nation’s birthday, founder Anne Parton was born into a family of fierce and rugged spirits, and even stronger women. Parton knows that enduring legacies are not built, they’re bloodlined.
The Parton girls have done it again!
The Partons honed their pedigree making moonshine in the eastern Tennessee Cataloochee Valley and western North Carolina mountains. Throughout Prohibition, their shine shacks never ceased operating, and over the decades, the Parton family grew their reputation, gaining notoriety for two of its fiercest products: its spirits and its women.
Having traveled the world, our lady’s mash roots provided an anchor to her bloodlines and wings of Independence. While cutting her industry teeth in Kentucky, the heart of bourbon country, Parton couldn’t help but see a path left unpaved: a bourbon made by a woman, for women. Our vision is simple: create amazing bourbon and unlock women’s unique journeys to Independence. Parton invites you to unlock and toast your Independence.
